WALL-E Project:
Last Friday, we did a project in class where we watched the beloved P.I.X.A.R film, "WALL-E" and wrote down what the different elements of animation were in the film and where to find them. So this is what i found. Squash and Stretch- An example of squash and stretch in the film is a specific moment where wall-e jumps off a hill and lands on the ground where his robot body and wheels bounce a bit when impacting the ground. How this is squash and stretch is that when impacting the ground, the body and wheels squash for just a millisecond to show off realistic movement. Appeal- An example of appeal is the design of the robotic characters whether its WALL-E himself, Eva, or even Mo. Appeal is making the character look appealing to the human eye and all the robotic characters in the movie and even the spaceship itself looks amazingly appealing.
